His Father Cary Poindexter Munday and his mother Kate V. Munday were both born in Virginia. Robert is the youngest of six kids but only two of them were living when he was born. Roberts' two other living siblings were Wilkens Munday and Ruby Munday. They were both a bit older than him. Wilkens was fifteen years older than Robert. Ruby was eleven years older than him.
